Common problems.
My AI created things but the app is empty
They are probably using different library files. Set the same PAATHSHALA_DB for the app and the MCP server.
The AI tool can’t find the server
Check Node 20+ is on the PATH the tool uses, restart the tool after editing its config, and look at the Connect page to see the last AI activity.
Run AI says the claude CLI was not found
Install Claude Code, or set PAATHSHALA_CLAUDE_BIN to its full path.
Port 3000 is busy
Use npx paathshala --port 4000, and update the HTTP MCP URL accordingly.
Install fails on better-sqlite3
It is a native module. Use a supported Node version (20+), or install your platform’s build tools so it can compile.
